The Orillia Museum of Art and History January History Speaker's Evening

The Orillia Museum of Art and History hosts the January Speaker's evening on Wednesday, January 18 at 7:30 PM. Local historian Don Ross will talk about the rocky road that got us to confederation in this talk, "Through Wars, Rebellions and Invasions - The Power of 1867." Also that evening Jean Sargeant will launch her new book " The Secrets In The Chest: The Life of James "Tiny" Small. The diaries were written by her father while at the front in World War One. They were discovered in the false bottom of a chest. Admission is free and all are welcome.
