With nice sunny weather booked for the weekend, a lot of people will be hitting the beach.
A swimming advisory for Orillia’s Couchiching Beach Park has been lifted.

The Simcoe Muskoka Health Unit found high bacteria levels back on August 11th, but the latest test results show levels have now returned to safe levels.
However, about 10 beaches in our area remain posted, including four in Tiny, two in Midland, along with Barrie’s Centennial Beach.
Beach advisories, are just warnings, about bacteria levels, and don’t mean the beaches are closed.
