Barrie teen sentenced for 'unspeakable' attack
A Barrie teen was sentenced yesterday for his role in breaking into a 98 year-old woman’s house and trashing it.
Last December, two teens broke into an elderly, handicapped Barrie woman’s home and destroyed it, as well as terrifying the wheel-chair bound woman by pouring syrup over her while she pretended to sleep.
One of the teens was yesterday sentenced to youth detention for 100 days plus 50 day of community supervision and two years of probation.
The other youth involved is still before the courts.
