In 2015, Weston Bakeries and Loblaw grocery stores discovered there was price fixing between major bread wholesalers and major retailers. Bosses at Loblaw admitted to being apart of the industry wide scam from 2001 to 2015. The Canadian owned grocer has said they’ve let go the individuals involved and are now offering a $25 gift card to eligible customers.
