Massive apartment fire in Barrie
A massive fire in Barrie has displaced as many as 25 families, with an apartment complex in the Allandale neighborhood going up in flames.
The fire ripped through the building on Little Avenue late last night, with crews rushing in to knock it down and check for anybody trapped.
At this hour, we are being told there were no serious injuries, and crews are just now leaving the scen, but investigators will now take over, trying to figure out what caused it and how much damage has been done.

The Allendale Community Centre was acting as a make-shift shelter for victims, and it appears all 25 units in the building have been affected, and tenants have lost much of what they own.
Its the second major fire in the same neighborhood in the last three weeks.
Thanking the angels on our shoulders for the fact there were no injuries tonight in the serious fire at 100 Little Ave. Many have lost everything they had. Thank you to first responders, Barrie Housing, Red Cross and City, County and Transit staff who are assisting tonight.
