Shoppers Drug Mart’s loyalty reward program, Optimum, will be merging with Loblaw’s PC Points program February 1, 2018.
Loblaw bought the pharmacy giant three years ago and has been featuring more of its brands inside the store.
Point earners are concerned for loss of value (circa the Air Miles debacle), but Loblaw officials say that points will be transferred with equal value. i.e. If you have $100 in Optimum points, you’ll receive $100 in the new PC Optimum points.
